As part of Western Power’s program to upgrade secure access across its electrical network infrastructure, Westforce delivered comprehensive security enhancement works at the Southern Terminal Substation in Bibra Lake. The project focused on strengthening perimeter security and access control systems to protect critical high-voltage infrastructure.

The scope included the supply and installation of approximately 1,500m of galvanised steel welded mesh fencing on a concrete anti-tunnelling slab, installation of new swipe access hardware to the fence and relay rooms, and the supply and installation of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to security system networking hardware, ensuring improved resilience and site protection at this critical facility supplying Perth’s southern suburbs.
