Westforce was engaged by Roy Hill to deliver non-process infrastructure (NPI) works for the Run of Mine (ROM) 4 expansion project. Delivery included civil, concrete, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic disciplines, with Westforce specifically undertaking SMPEI&C works for Crushing Station 5, CVR523 and associated conveyors.
The 34.1Mtpa NPI facility, located 115km north of Newman, will support Roy Hill’s Marra Mamba iron ore operations through to 2032.
Westforce’s scope included construction of NPI facility, including drive-in sump and evaporation pond, installation of buildings (office, crib, ice-room, ablution), dome shelter and full mechanical and electrical fit-out
