Project Overview

The ROM 4 Project is a 40.5Mtpa iron ore facility planned to deliver first ore in 2023 and remain in service until 2032. Westforce was engaged by Roy Hill to complete concrete and detailed earthworks enabling the installation of new Conveyor CVR523, Crushing Station 5, and associated infrastructure to support expanded production capacity at the site.

Project Scope

Detailed Earthworks: Foundation preparation including loading, hauling, placement, and compaction of material.
Concrete Works: Supply and installation of reinforced concrete for Conveyor CVR523, Crushing Station 5, transformers, switchrooms, and drive-in sumps. Works included footings, slabs, walls, plinths, pedestals, precast panels, reinforcing steel, blinding, formwork, construction joints, hold-down bolts, grouting, and all embedded items.
Earthing: Installation and testing of earth grids, electrodes, and bonds.
Miscellaneous Works: Light pole footings, grouting, concrete stair pads, and bollard installation.
