As part of BHP’s broader program to expand mining, processing, and outload capacity at the Mining Area C Iron Ore hub, Westforce was engaged to deliver critical communications infrastructure.
This package played a key role in enhancing operational connectivity and reliability across the South Flank development, ensuring seamless communication networks to support the expanded mining operations in this remote Pilbara location.
Our scope included the installation of 12 remote communication towers, associated switch rooms, and integrated solar farms, supported by the construction of access tracks connecting these facilities to the main haul and service roads.
