Westforce was engaged by Monadelphous to undertake civil and concrete works for the Christmas Creek Hall Hub development project.
The project involved civil earthworks, concrete structures and installation of underground services to support a 13.6km overland conveying system located approximately 100km northeast of Newman, Western Australia.
The system facilitates enables the transfer of primary crushed ore from the Hall Pit crushing hub to existing feed conveyors via a central transfer station.
The scope was divided into three primary work areas:
Across all areas, works included conduit installation, detailed earthworks, formwork, steel fixing, and concrete construction to support a 13.6km overland conveying system.
Concrete: 2,000m³ ~
Detailed Earthworks: 15,000m³ ~
Piping: 200Dia fire main relocation
Conduit: 2,000m ~
Reinforcement: 200T ~
