Westforce was engaged by Monadelphous to deliver civil and concrete works for the Christmas Creek Hall Hub development. Located around 100 km northeast of Newman, the project formed part of a broader upgrade to the overland ore conveying system at Fortescue Metals Group’s Christmas Creek operations.
The 13.6km system connects the primary crushing hub at Hall Pit to the existing feed conveyors through a new transfer station, streamlining ore handling across site operations. Westforce was responsible for all ground preparation, structural concrete and underground services across three defined zones.
Operating in remote conditions and under a compressed schedule, Westforce delivered critical civil and concrete works across three zones, maintaining seamless coordination with Monadelphous’ broader project.
Westforce delivered all works under a Construct Only contract, with full responsibility across three distinct areas. Our delivery combined detailed earthworks, reinforced concrete and underground services to meet Monadelphous’ milestones on time and in full.
