Project Overview

Westforce was engaged by Zenith Energy to deliver all civil and concrete works for the Bellevue Wind Farm, a core component of Zenith’s 88MW hybrid power station at the Bellevue Gold Project, 400km north of Kalgoorlie.

The works included construction of four Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs), access roads, and crane hardstands. The power station will harness a combination of wind and solar generation, thermal generation, and battery storage, making it a pioneering example of sustainable energy solutions in the region. Designed to supply up to 80% of the project’s power requirements through renewables, the Bellevue Wind Farm is a critical step toward off-grid sustainability.

This project highlights Westforce’s commitment to delivering high-quality civil and concrete works that support the growth of renewable energy infrastructure.

  • Mobilisation and demobilisation of all necessary plant and equipment for civil works
  • Establishment and operation of borrow pit, including crushing and screening of pavement material
  • Establishment and operation of concrete batching plant
  • Installation of berms, thermal blankets for curing and precast stair pads and transformer slabs at each WTG location
  • Backfilling of WTG foundations
  • Construction of approximately 3 km of unsealed access roads
  • Construction of transformers, radiator plinths, and stair landings at each turbine location
  • Procurement and Installation of RCP/Poly Culverts and concrete precast culverts

Concrete: 2,800m³ ~
Bulk Earthworks: 40,000m³ ~
Reinforcement: 350T ~
Internal Roads: 3km ~
Operational Capacity: 6MW
