The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team on upcoming civil and resources projects. You’ll draw on your site and engineering background to manage program, quality, safety, environmental compliance, and subcontractor performance, while keeping an eye on the commercial outcomes that matter.
We’ve got a mix of FIFO and DIDO options as well as Perth-based project work. This is an opportunity to take real ownership, build on your career, and be part of projects that make a difference across WA.
What You’ll Do
- Manage program timelines, budgets, and deliverables across civil works.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews to ensure performance.
- Monitor safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Assist with preparing subcontractor quotes and supply agreements.
- Prepare progress certificates and monthly reports (OHS, ENV, QA).
- Keep site records accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with the project management team to achieve commercial outcomes.
About You
- Degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer, or similar role.
- Previous exposure to civil, resources, or infrastructure projects (earthworks, drainage, structures, water industry works preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound understanding of earthmoving plant and civil methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Simpel project management tools.
- Current WA Driver’s Licence and White Card.
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol testing.
