The BHP Jimblebar Dewatering project consists of the construction of the Dewatering, Surplus Water Management and Surface Water Infrastructure at Jimblebar iron ore mine site.
As part of this project, Westforce were required to a complete culvert work and rock breaking through a remote creek bed with little to no access for plant. This creek was 50m below where the finished surface of the over passing haul road was to pass.
Additional to this workforce completed, works to boost Ophthalmia pipeline flows to Ophthalmia Dam, transfer pump stations and the aquifer recharger.
