PROJECT OVERVIEW

The project involved extending the stacker runways by 22m, constructing buffer stop foundations, manufacturing steel buffer stops, mechanical limit adjustments, installing additional Radio Frequency Identification tags, removing a redundant bulking in loading chute, extending tray supports for machine water hosing and electrical cabling, existing services adjustment including the installation of a new stockpile water cannon, and earthworks to excavate a further 30m of fines stockpile canyon including lining the base of the excavation with 500mm deep of coarse ore for drainage.

PROJECT SCOPE

Construction works completed within the confines of an live operational process plant with commissioning completed during a planned shutdown.
Structural steel buffers 5T each
Mechanical supply and install of RFID's & Striker Bars
Raw and fire water diversion piping (diameter 250mm, 100l/m)
Electrical earthing and cable tray install
