PROJECT OVERVIEW
Westforce has been selected to deliver the BHP Nickel West Mount Keith Debottlenecking Project’s Bulk Earthworks & Concrete Works package near Leinster, Western Australia.
BHP Nickel West is expanding its operations which includes:
- Reclaim conveyor,
- 11kV substation,
- Coarse ore stockpile,
- New stockpile feed conveyors,
- 16MW SAG Mill grinding circuit and,
- Expansion of the crushing and grinding circuit
The Mount Keith Debottlenecking Project will deliver an additional semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) mill circuit at the Mount Keith Mine processing plant, providing additional grinding capacity to maintain ore throughput and processing at the mine.
PROJECT SCOPE
Westforce is responsible for the delivery of concrete works and earthworks associated with the project, including but not limited to:
- All civils & earthworks
- Clearing & grubbing
- Pavements
- Detailed earthworks
- Structural concrete works
- Hydraulics
- Underground service works (water, air, electrical and communication services)
- Commissioning works
